Hi folks, welcome to July’s campfire catch-up!

After a busy month, it’s time to grab a coconut cooler, pull up a deckchair, sit back and shoot the breeze.

Here are a few updates, demos and links we think you might like to see.

Cheers!

Dive into demos!

We’ve got two walk-through-style demos to share with you this month.

Retro meetings demo

First up, Craig gives a 7-minute tour of how run retro meetings in Sharktower, including how to capture lessons learned and suggested actions to continually improve your delivery.

Delivery Map demo

And if it’s tips about creating project plans you’re after, Lynsey’s here to talk you through it, with a 4.5-minute demo of the Sharktower Delivery Map.

Fire up two new features!

July brought a couple of big updates to Sharktower, each developed from user feedback.

Do more with outcomes

With more and more organisations focusing on benefits realisation, we’ve added new fields that allow users to mark an outcome as a ‘Project Milestone’ or a ‘Business Outcome’.

Even better, you can now add the expected value – monetary or otherwise – associated with the outcome.

Export your data

Users asked, we listened. Yep, you can now export data from Sharktower into Excel! If you’re an admin-level Sharktower user, you’ll find it in the admin panel.

And just for fun…

Check out the Ocearch shark tracker!

Sharktower loves to keep track of things, and Team Sharktower love sharks, so this live shark tracker from Ocearch has been keeping us entertained recently. The app is part of an ocean research project, but we’ve loved just seeing who’s swimming where, and keeping tabs on the best-named shark in the world: Errol Finn!

Until next time: happy surfing!
